How to use Promescent
On initial usage, patients should apply 3 to 5 sprays to the shaft and glans of the penis 10 minutes prior to intercourse and rub it into the skin until it is completely absorbed. From then on, patients should increase the dosage if greater efficacy is desired or decrease the dosage if penile numbness occurs.
To maximize efficacy and prevent transference, Promescent should be thoroughly rubbed into the shaft and glans of the penis. Efficacy may be increased by increasing dosage to a maximum of 10 sprays. If numbness occurs, reduce dosage.
Patients should wash hands after applying Promescent and wipe off excess lotion with a damp wash cloth or towel prior to intercourse. This is recommended if oral sex is anticipated.
