Premature ejaculation is said to be the most common sexual disorder in men younger than 40 years. However, more and more over-the-counter treatments have become available to prolong orgasms.

Quick FAQs

Stud 100 is a male desensitizing spray that helps to desensitize the penis and prolong ejaculation

It's recommended to apply Stud 100 five to 10 minutes before sexual intercourse.

Following application, the desensitizing effect is said to last between 30 to 60 minutes.

One category of such products is desensitizing sprays. We'll take a closer look at Stud 100 desensitizing spray for men.

Our Stud 100 Review will answer some important questions about the delay spray that’ll help you decide if it’s the best option.

What is Stud 100?

Stud 100 is a delay spray that is designed to prolong ejaculation by desensitizing the penis.

Manufactured by Pound International Corporation in Portland, Oregon, Stud 100 has been available for more than 50 years.

It’s considered safe by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). Stud 100 contains some key ingredients that help desensitize the penis to prolong ejaculation. These include:

  • Lidocaine: A local anesthetic designed to bring about a loss of feeling after it's applied.
  • Isopropyl Myristate: Isopropyl Myristate is a synthetic oil that's often used as a lubricant in skin care and cosmetic products.
  • Stearic Acid: This is a fatty acid that's also used in a variety of skin care and cosmetic products.

It's believed that there are a variety of other ingredients in Stud 100 that are not listed by the manufacturer.

Stud 100 is widely available, with customers able to purchase it from online retailers and brick-and-mortar stores.

Pros and Cons of Stud 100

As is the case with any delay spray, there are a variety of pros and cons associated with Stud 100. Weighing these factors can help with deciding if this is the right treatment option.

Stud 100 Desensitizing Spray Pros

Here's a closer look at some of the advantages of using this product:

  • It can improve sexual health: Some men report prolonging ejaculation times by several minutes following the use of the product.
  • The product is affordable and widely available, able to be purchased without a prescription via online retailers and brick-and-mortar stores.
  • Stud 100 has been available for about 50 years and is recognized by the FDA. Its manufacturer, Pound International, is considered a credible organization.
  • Unlike other delay products, such as EMLA creams that need to be applied up to 30 minutes before anticipated sex, Stud 100 only needs to be applied five to 15 minutes prior to sex.
  • The metered pump nozzle ensures the same amount of spray each time.

Stud 100 Delay Spray Cons

Here's a look at some disadvantages of using Stud 100:

  • Potential temporary loss of sexual pleasure from being too numb.
  • Ingredients may cause rash, itching, burning, stinging, swelling and/or skin irritation.
  • The product can transfer between partners easier than with other sprays on the market.
  • Stud 100 also emits a fragrance, which could be a debilitating use factor for both a man and his partner.
  • There are more proven alternative treatments: Wipes and sprays from Promescent, pelvic floor exercises, edging, and the squeeze method.

Arguably the biggest con of Stud 100 is that it's largely unproven. While some men report positive results in their Stud 100 review, others report little to no change in their sexual performance.

How to Use Stud 100

Wondering how to use Stud 100 spray? It's fairly easy and straightforward. About 15 minutes before anticipated sex, retrieve the bottle and spray it onto the penis.

The most sensitive area of the penis tends to be the head, or glands. This is typically the best area to focus on when applying, though all men should experiment for themselves.

Make sure to wash your hands after applying the spray to avoid transferring the product to your partner.

Wait five to 15 minutes before sexual intercourse. Stud 100 recommends waiting at least five minutes before engaging in penetrative sex to ensure the desensitizing solution has enough time to take effect.

After waiting at least five minutes for the desensitizing effect to take place, men should be able to confidently proceed with sexual intercourse with their partners.

Once done make sure to rinse off your penis to remove any remaining spray residue.

How Long Does Stud 100 Take to Work?

It's suggested that men apply Stud 100 anywhere from five to 15 minutes prior to sex. According to the product, this should provide enough time for the desensitization to adequately take effect.

How Long Does Stud 100 Last?

The desensitizing effect of Stud 100 lasts anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes following application.

This may vary based on how much of the product is applied and how long it's left to sit and absorb into the penis.

Does Stud 100 Numb Your Partner?

As is the case with most delay sprays and wipes, there's always some risk of transfer during intercourse.

However if the product is used as directed the risk should be fairly low.

If partner transfer is a major concern for you or your partner you can always wear a condom while using the spray.

Doing so pretty much eliminates the risk of product transfer. For men who don't want to wear a condom, it's best to let the spray fully absorb into the skin before beginning penetrative sex.

Is Stud 100 Safe?

Stud 100 is recognized by the FDA. FDA recognition is a process where the FDA identifies that the manufacturer has met certain standards.

The product, however, is not FDA-approved. FDA approval is only granted after a thorough review of any drug or product.

If a product's advantages have been found to outweigh any known side effects or disadvantages.

Takeaways

Stud 100 is one of many desensitizing sprays that are available to help men combat premature ejaculation.

Manufactured by Pound International, the product has been sold for 50 years and is widely available at an affordable price.

When sprayed on the penis, its desensitizing effect can begin in as little as five minutes. When used correctly, many men report Stud 100 can prolong their intercourse times.

However, the fragrance, potential side effects and the range of other products and more natural alternatives to treat premature ejaculation are debilitating use factors.
