Lemme Purr gummies are the latest women’s supplement from reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian.

It’s designed to improve vaginal health, odor, and pH levels, along with supporting a fresher “taste”, according to the marketing.

Quick FAQs

Lemme Purr gummies are a women’s supplement designed to improve vaginal functioning.

The main ingredients in the gummies are bacillus coagulans SNZ 1969, Vitamin C, and pineapple fruit powder.

Based on the lack of research to support the claims of the supplement, there's little to no evidence it will work.

Lemme Purr gummies are an all-natural supplement created for women’s sexual and reproductive health.

Since deciphering between the marketing and the reality of products is often difficult, we’ll dive deep into Lemme Purr gummies to see if they're safe, beneficial, and worth trying!

What Are Lemme Purr Gummies?

Created by the Kourtney Kardashian-owned brand Lemme, Lemme Purr gummies are a women’s daily supplement designed to improve vaginal health and functioning.

The official product page lists the following Lemme Purr benefits:

  • Supports healthy vaginal pH levels
  • Supports vaginal odor
  • Supports a healthy vaginal microflora
  • Supports vaginal health
  • Supports vaginal freshness

As of now, one bottle of 60 gummies costs $30, although recurring shipments may include a discount.

A single serving of Lemme Purr is 2 gummies per day, meaning each bottle contains a 30-day supply.

Lemme Purr Ingredients

Lemme Purr gummies have all natural ingredients, and 1 serving (2 gummies) contains the following:

Bacillus coagulans SNZ 1969 (15mg, or 1 billion CFUs)

This probiotic was included to potentially aid in vaginal health and promote healthy vaginal bacteria. Its further goals are to balance pH levels to improve odor and "taste," and aid in the prevention of harmful bacterial overgrowth.

However, the available studies don’t necessarily support this claim.

In one study, SNZ 1969 was shown to improve vaginal health when applied directly to the vagina.

So, while Lemme’s marketing claims are correct in that this probiotic did improve vaginal wellness, it was not taken as an oral supplement in the study.

While there’s certainly a potential for this probiotic to be beneficial, and there are no direct warnings for taking it, the product's claims are misleading since the study only tested this probiotic vaginally, and not orally, when noting its effects.

Vitamin C (20mg)

Vitamin C is included to help promote collagen production in the skin. However, the studies that show vitamin C as beneficial in aiding collagen production use much higher amounts, often in the range of 150mg.

Despite vitamin C being beneficial overall, either from a balanced diet or multivitamin, there is little evidence that the amount contained in Lemme Purr is worth the cost.

Pineapple Fruit Powder (100mg)

Pineapple fruit powder was added to promote a fresh taste, both to the gummy itself and potentially within the genitals according to the company's marketing. However, there are no scientific studies available to support this claim.

Along with these active ingredients, one serving also contains:

  • 20 Calories
  • 4g Carbohydrates
  • 3g Sugars

The company prides itself on being natural, and other product information includes:

  • Vegan
  • Without high fructose corn syrup
  • No artificial sweeteners or synthetic colors
  • Gluten-free
  • Non-GMO
  • Gelatin-free

How Do You Take Lemme Purr?

The company recommends taking two Lemme Purr gummies per day. There is no mention of whether it’s best to take it with or without food.

Do Lemme Purr Gummies Work?

While Lemme does not state it directly, their mentioning of vaginal odor and health makes it sound as though their product hopes to treat bacterial vaginosis (BV.)

BV affects nearly 30% of women, and some of the most common symptoms include:

  • A white vaginal discharge
  • Pain
  • Itching
  • Burning
  • A strong fish-like odor

In most cases, the recommended treatment for BV is with antibiotics or medicated gels.

However, there’s no direct support that Lemme Purr’s main active ingredient, SNZ 1969, can help with this condition.

As mentioned earlier, while some studies have shown it to be beneficial, these studies usually administer the probiotic directly, and not orally.

Given that the only other main ingredients are Vitamin C and pineapple extract, it’s likely that the product does very little for vaginal health.

Vitamin C is certainly beneficial, but it can be found in nearly all multivitamins in greater amounts and for a fraction of the cost.

Likewise, pineapple extract does not have any purported benefits beyond the company’s claim that it can “make you taste good.”

For women suffering from BV or other vaginal problems, it’s best to speak with an OB GYN or health care professional to get the specific medications needed to treat the problem.

Are Lemme Purr Gummies Safe?

Overall, Lemme Purr gummies appear to be relatively safe for most people.

SNZ 1969, as with other probiotics, may cause:

  • Upset stomach
  • Diarrhea
  • Bloating

These side effects are rare, but people should discontinue use of the product if they occur.

Likewise, those with an allergy to pineapple should avoid this product.

Lemme Purr Gummies Reviews

The product is relatively new, and as of now, there are only 30 verified reviews available on the company’s website.

Of the 29 available reviews, all fall into the 5-star category.

Some of the most common trends include:

  • The product works within a week
  • It reduces odors and improves taste
  • It’s easy on the stomach
  • Few, if any, side effects

Of course, the trends may change as more reviews are provided.

However, even verified reviews should sometimes be taken with a grain of salt, especially in certain situations.

When a product is brand new and from a famous influencer like Kourtney Kardashian, their fans may post glowing reviews in support of the person creating the product.

While this may or may not be the case here, it’s often best to look at scientific studies on the ingredients.

Seeing a larger quantity of reviews or more authoritative ones makes deciding on a supplement easier.

Takeaways

While Lemme Purr Gummies seem to be overall safe, there are no available studies confirming the product's reported benefits.

If a woman has vaginal problems, such as BV, it’s best to visit an OB GYN instead of taking pineapple-infused gummies.

If a woman is seeking out the supplement for pleasure, there are many safer options available, like warming female arousal gels.

However, when it comes to health, it’s best to stick with doctors and their recommended medications.

Otherwise, you may just be purchasing an ineffective, tropical, and overpriced gummy.
